For Brands

How does it work?

First, you start by creating a free, brief company profile. Once you've signed up, you can create a free campaign that includes a photo, description of your product, and the types of Instagrammers you're looking to work with. Instagrammers will then send you proposals stating what they want in exchange for sharing your product on their page. In the meantime, you can also invite Instagrammers to your campaign who you think would be a good fit for your brand.

Who should use this?

Brands that have a new or existing product that they'd like to have popular influencers on Instagram share.

How much does it cost?

There is no cost for companies to use Hypermarket and post campaigns! You gift an Instagrammer product in exchange for posting. If you're offering an Instagrammer monetary compensation, you don't pay anything. Instead a commission is withdrawn from the agreed upon amount.

How do I know the Instagrammer will post my product on their page?

Payment is not released to the Instagrammer until they post to their page. If you are running a product only campaign there is no way for us to guarantee an Instagrammer will post your product. However, our Instagrammer network is highly motivated to make this part of their career and we believe the likelihood of foul play is low. We will also take measures to ban and boot any Instagrammer who takes advantage.

Do I provide photos of my products?

Normally you send your product to the Instagrammer and let them know what style you’re looking for and they take a photo in their own style to post. If you’d like to provide them with a photo to use for the post you can let them know through messaging when you’re deciding to hire them.

Is there a limit to how many products I can promote?

No! Each campaign promotes one product and you can post as many campaigns as you’d like. This is a great way to test out which products are more popular and there’s no obligation to hire if you don’t find the right fit.

For Instagrammers

I'm scared to login with my Instagram account

Don't be scared! We can assure you that we never see your Instagram password, the login process is all handled via Instagram.com. You can verify this by checking the URL when you're redirected to the login screen. We also never post to your page, like, comment, follow or anything at all on your behalf. In fact, we don't even offer those features for the Instagrammers themselves. We only use Instagram login to verify you're the owner of the account and to create a brief profile based on your public stats.

How does it work?

First, you sign up for free with your Instagram account. You then fill out a brief profile about yourself stating the types of things you're interested in. After your profile is set, you can browse campaigns for products you'd like to promote. If you find something that fits your style, that you know your followers would love, you then submit a proposal. In your proposal you state if you'd be willing to accept product only for posting or if you'd require payment as well.

Who should use this?

Instagrammers with at least 1000 followers who are passionate about what they do and love sharing it with their audience.

How much does it cost?

For Instagrammers, it's all free. We take a 20% commission on monetary transactions and that’s it!

How do I know I'll get paid if I post?

When a company finalizes their campaign, they're required to submit a deposit with us that we hold. This helps ensure they have the money they said they would pay you. Once you post to your page, you must let us know by clicking the “I’ve posted my first image” button in the agreement and then payment is released after 7 days.

How do I deactivate my account?

Go to "Edit Profile" and on the right side of the screen is a red link that says "Deactivate Your account". We hate to see you go and our door is always open if you change your mind!
